LeCanin Service Agreement

LeCanin means the pet-care provider identified in the client's written confirmation. Client means the adult requesting and authorizing care. These terms apply to approved services in the Las Vegas Valley.

Dogs

Dog-specific care

The client must disclose bite history, reactivity, resource guarding, anxiety, escape behavior, leash equipment, crate routine, and interactions with people or animals. LeCanin may refuse off-leash activity, dog parks, group interaction, or equipment it considers unsafe. Boarding approval may require a meet-and-greet and vaccination records appropriate to the service. The client is responsible for injury or damage caused by an undisclosed known behavior or condition, to the extent permitted by law.

Cats

Cat-specific care

The client must disclose indoor-only status, door-dashing or escape behavior, hiding locations, handling sensitivity, aggression, carrier routine, and litter habits. For boarding, the client authorizes care in a secure feline room separated from dogs; LeCanin may decline a cat who cannot safely adapt to that environment. For in-home visits, the client must provide a safe carrier and secure doors, windows, screens, and pet-access points.

1. Approval and service confirmation+

Submitting a request, care profile, or payment inquiry does not guarantee service. A reservation becomes confirmed only when LeCanin has approved the pet and household, confirmed the dates or recurring schedule in writing, and received any required payment or retainer.

The written confirmation identifies the service, dates or monthly allocation, price, service area, and any special arrangements. If it conflicts with these general terms on a service-specific detail, the written confirmation controls for that detail.

2. Pricing, payment, and recurring memberships+

Prices are shown before payment. Applicable holiday adjustments, additional-pet charges, extended care, transportation, or other approved additions appear in the written confirmation.

Memberships are billed automatically each month through Stripe until canceled. The client authorizes the recurring charge shown at checkout. Cancellation stops the next renewal when received before the next billing date; it does not create a prorated refund for a cycle already billed, except where required by law. Clients may update payment information or cancel future renewal through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting LeCanin.

If payment fails, service may be paused while Stripe retries the payment. Any care already delivered remains payable.

3. Membership appointments and scheduling+

Essential Routine includes 8, Signature Routine includes 12, and Daily Routine includes 20 private 30-minute appointments per monthly billing cycle. Cat Companion includes 4 and Cat Routine includes 8 private 30-minute appointments per monthly billing cycle.

Appointments are arranged on recurring days within an agreed arrival window, not at an exact minute unless confirmed otherwise. Included appointments expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over. A client-requested change requires at least 48 hours' notice, remains subject to route availability, and uses the change allowance included in the selected plan. A late cancellation or missed-access visit counts as used.

4. Boarding, overnight, and vacation-care cancellations+

A 50% retainer confirms boarding, overnight care, and cat vacation care. Unless the written confirmation states otherwise, cancellations made at least 7 days before the service start receive a refund of the retainer; cancellations inside 7 days forfeit the retainer. For holiday and peak-period reservations, the cancellation window is 14 days. The remaining balance is due before care begins.

If LeCanin must cancel and cannot provide an acceptable alternative, amounts paid for undelivered service are refunded.

5. Client information and care instructions+

The client represents that all information supplied to LeCanin is complete, accurate, and current, including information about health, medications, allergies, vaccination status, behavior, bite or aggression history, escape tendencies, routines, household conditions, veterinarian details, and emergency contacts. This is a continuing obligation: the client must promptly disclose any material change before the next service begins.

LeCanin may rely on the written care profile and other client instructions. Materially false, incomplete, or outdated information may result in refusal, modification, suspension, or termination of service when it affects safety, compatibility, pricing, or the agreed scope of care. The client remains responsible for care already provided and for reasonable additional costs directly caused by the inaccurate or omitted information, subject to applicable law.

6. Veterinary emergencies+

LeCanin will make reasonable efforts to contact the client and emergency contact. If neither can be reached and prompt attention reasonably appears necessary, the client authorizes LeCanin to contact the listed veterinarian, an emergency clinic, or another licensed veterinary provider and to transport the pet when practical.

The client is responsible for veterinary, transportation, medication, and related third-party charges. This authorization does not require LeCanin to make medical judgments or guarantee an outcome. LeCanin may follow a veterinarian's instructions until the client or emergency contact becomes available.

7. Home access, property, and visitors+

Access instructions are arranged privately after approval and should not be entered in the public website form. The client must provide a safe, lawful means of entry and disclose alarms, cameras, restricted areas, known hazards, other residents, contractors, and expected visitors.

LeCanin is not responsible for missed service caused by inaccessible keys, changed codes, disabled entry systems, or an undisclosed person preventing access. The client is responsible for the conduct of other people and animals present during service. LeCanin will use reasonable care with keys and property and will report material incidents promptly.

8. Reasonable care and inherent risks+

LeCanin agrees to provide the confirmed services with reasonable care. Animals can behave unpredictably, become ill, injure themselves, escape despite reasonable precautions, or damage property. The client accepts risks inherent in the pet's condition, behavior, age, environment, and ordinary pet care that are not caused by LeCanin's failure to exercise reasonable care.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LeCanin is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excuses liability that cannot lawfully be waived, including liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

9. Photos, communication, and privacy+

LeCanin may take photographs or video to document care and send client updates. Public marketing use requires the client's separate permission and will not identify the home address or disclose private access information.

The client consents to service-related email, text, and telephone communication. LeCanin uses client and pet information to evaluate, arrange, document, and provide care and to meet legitimate business or legal obligations. Payment card information is collected and processed by Stripe, not by the LeCanin onboarding form.

10. Ending service+

Either party may decline future services. LeCanin may immediately suspend or end care for nonpayment, unsafe conditions, undisclosed aggression or medical needs, harassment, illegal activity, or material breach of these terms. When a pet is already in LeCanin's care, LeCanin will take reasonable steps to protect the pet while arranging return, pickup, emergency contact involvement, veterinary care, or another lawful solution.

11. Delayed pickup and unclaimed pets+

The client must collect the pet at the confirmed time or promptly arrange an approved alternative. If pickup is delayed, the client remains responsible for continued care at LeCanin's then-current applicable rate, together with reasonable transportation, veterinary, supply, lodging, or third-party costs caused by the delay.

If the client does not collect the pet and cannot be reached, LeCanin will make reasonable efforts to contact the client and emergency contact using the information on file. When continued care is no longer safe, practical, authorized, or reasonably available, LeCanin may arrange lawful temporary care, veterinary boarding, transport, or transfer to an appropriate animal-control agency, shelter, or other authorized facility. LeCanin will use this authority only as reasonably necessary for the pet's welfare and in accordance with applicable law. These steps do not transfer ownership to LeCanin or waive amounts the client owes.

12. Events outside reasonable control+

Severe weather, wildfire, evacuation, road closure, government action, utility or communications failure, unsafe air or travel conditions, contagious-disease restrictions, sudden illness or injury, veterinary emergency, or another event outside LeCanin's reasonable control may make the confirmed service unsafe, impractical, or impossible.

LeCanin may reasonably delay, modify, relocate, substitute, shorten, or cancel affected care when necessary to protect a pet, person, or property. LeCanin will make reasonable efforts to notify the client and preserve essential care. If LeCanin cannot provide an acceptable alternative, amounts paid for undelivered service will be refunded or credited; completed care and reasonable emergency or third-party costs remain payable.

13. Client responsibility and limited indemnification+

To the extent permitted by law, the client agrees to reimburse LeCanin for and indemnify LeCanin against third-party claims, injuries, property damage, penalties, and reasonable costs to the extent they result from the client's material breach of these terms, materially false or omitted information, unlawful instructions, an undisclosed known condition or behavior, or the acts of the client's pet, household members, guests, or other animals under the client's control.

This obligation applies only to the portion of a loss attributable to those circumstances. It does not require the client to indemnify LeCanin for LeCanin's own negligence, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, fraud, or another liability that applicable law does not permit LeCanin to shift or waive.

14. Electronic records and general provisions+

The client agrees to conduct this transaction electronically. Selecting the acceptance boxes and typing the client's name is intended as an electronic signature. The acceptance record, care profile, written confirmation, Stripe checkout record, and these terms together form the agreement.

Nevada law governs, and disputes will be handled in Clark County, Nevada, unless applicable law requires otherwise. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A waiver on one occasion is not a continuing waiver. These terms may be updated for future services; material changes affecting an active membership will be communicated before they take effect.
